Hi Westsiders, we reviewed our abuse prevention strategies this past Sunday during our worship service, which you can watch here if you missed it.
On an extremely relevant note, I received an email on Monday morning from our denomination about a settlement with the Boy Scouts of America that I am making available to you here.
Note that most of these instances involving the Boy Scouts happened in the 1950's - 1970's, and that abuse prevention has gotten better over time in the United Methodist Church, but let us collectively renew our commitment to actively prevent abuse together here at Westside in the present and the future by actively providing a safe sanctuary to all.
